The Adventures of Harold and the Purple Crayon
Enchantment Theatre Company
10 a.m. Monday, October 5, 2009
Eisenhower Auditorium
60 minutes
Life-size puppets, masks, magic, and music dramatize an inventive young boy’s journeys based on Crocket Johnson’s beloved picture books. Armed with only his imagination and a big purple crayon, Harold draws the worlds he longs to explore, an ingeniously imaginative concept that intrigues children and celebrates creative thinking. Audiences will journey with Harold as he jets to Mars, joins a circus, and meets a king in an enchanted garden complete with dragon.
