Discounted orchestra-level seats to be available April 6 for ‘Rent’ performance at Eisenhower

The Center for the Performing Arts at Penn State will offer discounted seats for the 20th anniversary touring Broadway production of “Rent.”

A limited number of seats in the first two rows of the orchestra section will be available for $24.50 each for the 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 6, performance of the Pulitzer Prize- and Tony Award-winning musical at Eisenhower Auditorium. The $24.50 tickets will be available for purchase in person at Eisenhower starting at 3 p.m. the day of the performance. Tickets will be limited to two per person.

The tradition of the discounted tickets began in 1996 in New York City when the show moved to Broadway after a sold-out run in a small downtown theater.
