President’s Concert: A Sneak Preview

Eisenhower Auditorium

Join the Penn State Philharmonic Orchestra, directed by Gerardo Edelstein, on the eve of its Heinz Hall appearance to preview the Pittsburgh performance. The preview features Elgar’s In the South, Op. 50, plus the 2012 concerto audition winner. The program also includes Dvořák’s Carnival Overture, Op. 92; Rachmaninov’s Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini; and Barber’s Essay No. 1, Op. 12. The Penn State Glee Club and Penn State Opera will not be performing on this program.
