Let’s Dance
Movement Workshop for All Ages

4:00 pm Friday, September 8, 2017

Ford Building Lawn
Corner of Park Avenue and Allen Road, University Park

Free and open to the public

The one-hour workshop is a partnership with the Penn State’s College of Health and Human Development and Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders.

The rain date is Friday, September 15.

Get ready to sing and dance along with members of the For Good Troupe as they kick off the workshop by performing some of their favorite musical theatre songs. The troupe offers people with Down syndrome the opportunity to take part in musical theatre and performance activities, while allowing community members to observe, participate in, and celebrate the success of the performers.

After the performance, participants are invited to learn basic choreography under the direction of dance faculty, School of Theatre students, and the Penn State Chapter of the National Student Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

Participants should wear comfortable clothing. No dance or singing experience required. No need to register in advance.

Parents/guardians are expected to provide appropriate supervision for their children during this event.

Parking is available in the nearby Nittany Parking Deck.
